General
Cleaning for Restaurants Active
colloid cleaner is a general kitchen cleaning agent
that effectively cleans storeroom areas, food preparation and
dispensing equipment, counter areas, dishwashers, sinks, and
restrooms. It may also be used for soaking cutting or processing
tools before washing, resulting in renewed shine. Use 1 part cleaner
to 40 parts water.

Using one
part cleaner to 20 parts water in foaming applications is the
standard for most application in a food processing or production
facility. It is safe and effective and can also be used in a
steam-cleaning machine if this is the standard for the facility.
Active colloid cleaner doesn't contain components that might
precipitate on the bottom of the tank and clog small orifices
and tubing, or create scale in steam coils. Over time will also
unclog any orifices and tubing previously clogged by
powders.
Stoves,
Fryers
and Ovens To clean
ovens and fryers the dilution ratio would depend on the job that
needs to be done. Most of the ovens and fryers would fall into a
dilution ratio of 1 to 10 to 1 to 60, depending on how often and how
dirty the jobs are.
Refrigerators
and other Cold
Storage Facilities Active
colloid cleaner is very effective in cleaning the exterior and
interior of walk-in and reach-in refrigerators, with the additional
benefit of inhibiting, and in most cases completely eliminating,
formation of mildew. Use a dilution ratio of 20 to one. The same
ratio would apply to wiping down all stainless steel appliances and
surfaces. Steam tables, stock pots, and coffee makers likewise can
be effectively cleaned at this dilution, as this product will not
scale or leave any remaining residue in or on the equipment. In most
cases it will remove build-up from other cleaners used previously.
The dilution ratio would depend on the cleaning task at
hand.
Troubleshooting and
Maintenance of
Drains & Sewers Active
colloid cleaner has proven useful in relieving clogged sewers and
drains. The conditions vary from one situation to another. Results
will likewise vary depending on the clog you may encounter. It is
recommended that a light ratio be used initially, gradually
increasing the ratio until satisfactory results are obtained. It’s
use as a general cleaning agent will greatly assist in keeping
drains and sewers free from unwanted deposits.
Hand
Cleaning Active
colloid cleaner is an excellent hand cleaner. Use the product full
strength if hands are extremely dirty, rub into skin thoroughly, add
a little water, and continue to scrub, then rinse. It is odorless
and non-irritating.
